Fried Golden Chops

Ingredients:

1.)     500 gms mutton chops

2.)     250 gms yoghurt

3.)     1 cup milk

4.)     6 flakes garlic

5.)     2 inch piece of cinnamon

6.)     2 inch piece of ginger

7.)     1 Tsp chili powder

8.)     ¼ Tsp turmeric powder

9.)     1 Tsp garam masala powder

10.) Salt to taste

11.) Oil to deep fry

 

Method:

Grind ginger and garlic to a fine paste. Wash the mutton chops well. Boil the milk with the cinnamon stick for 5 to 7 minutes. Cool to room temperature. Add the milk along with the rest of the ingredients( including chops), except oil, to the yoghurt. Set aside for at least one hour to marinate. Heat oil and fry the marinated chops till golden brown and done.

Serve with green chutney.
